Retouched and restored.
Artist:
Lucien Lef�vre,1893 for Cacao Lact� de Ch. Gravier. Charles Gravier�s chocolate milk, better than all known chocolates and cocoas, 6 francs per kilo, main store rue du Louvre, Paris, available at every pharmacy and grocery.
A small dog is trying to have a taste of the cup of chocolate milk a little boy is holding.
Color scheme: black, white, lime greenish gray (background, shirt boy), brilliant scarlet (red in background), very dark amaranth (brown shorts boy), light gamboge (yellow hat boy, title shadow), light brilliant orange (floor background)
