The Salon des Cent was an art exhibition held from 1894 to 1900 in the lobby of La Plume, founded by Leon Deschamps, which aimed to expose new artists outside all schools without a jury, or medals. 53 expositions were held in the 7 years of existence.
Among the participants: Paul Berthon, Pierre Bonnard, Fr�d�ric-Auguste Cazals, Edgar Degas, Henri Evenepoel, James Ensor, Eug�ne Grasset, Henri-Gabriel Ibels, Gustave-Henri Jossot, Ren� Lalique, Henri Matisse, Gustave Moreau, Alfons Mucha, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Louis Valtat.
Georges de Feure (real name Georges Joseph van Slu�ters, 6 September 1868 � 26 November 1943) was a French painter, theatrical designer, and industrial art designer in the symbolism and Art Nouveau styles.
De Feure was born in Paris. His father was an affluent Dutch architect, and his mother was Belgian.
