This station was located in the Haydarpasa neighborhood of �sk�dar district in the Asian part of Istanbul, Turkey.
Haydarpasa Cemetery was/is known as a burial place for the British soldiers in the Crimean Wars. (1854-1856)
Afterwards, it also served as a burial place for soldiers of the British Commonwealth from the 2 World Wars, and for British citizens that lived and died in the area.
